Windows Server 2008 LogoFest Events

Published by Naveed at 6:35 PM under Technology

Here are the answers to some of the questions regarding the upcoming Logofest events that the Windows Logo team has received from Partners. Please continue to send any questions you may have to LOGOFEST@microsoft.com.

Are submission fees reduced for platforms that we have finished the testing on, but are not able to submit?

Each company registration will receive credit for two submissions. These submissions do not have to be completed during the onsite event training. Submissions must be made on or before January 31, 2008 to qualify.

When can we make server submissions for 2008? Can we make a submission at Release Candidate 1 or do we have to wait to Release To Manufacturing?

Winqual will accept server device submissions only at RC1. System submissions will be accepted at RTM.

Can you give more specific dates for RC1 and RTM?

Not at this time. RC1 will be available during the December 10-13, 2007 LogoFest event and RTM will be available during the January 21-24, 2008 LogoFest event.
