Beyond Web Logs

The initial page that your users see when they connect to your MOSS 2007 server(s) is the welcome page also known as the home page. In MOSS 2007 you have the ability to change or modify the look and feel of this page by following the steps here:

1. At the “Site Actions” menu select “Site Settings”.
2. Next select “Modify All Site Settings”.
3. At the Settings page select “Look and Feel” and select “Welcome page”.
4. Select “Browse” and choose the welcome page that you want to set as the new default welcome page and double click it to set it.
5. Finally select “OK” to apply the changes.
