The next edition of the Microsoft's Internet Explorer, IE 8, has been launched in a beta version at the MIX08 online conference. The main features of IE 8 include one that allows work to be saved on the computer when a connection is lost.
When it renders a web site, IE 8 will use the most-standards-compliant mode as a default setting, meaning that all Web sites will be rendered to look the same, regardless of which browser it was programmed for and who developed it.
