Adobe Systems officially announced its latest digital imaging suites -Photoshop CS4 and CS4 Extended. The software features a tab-based interface, Content-Aware Scaling 
technology which enables users to size and scale images through mouse dragging, new auto-align and auto-blend modes, a new canvas rotation
tool, fresh camera import controls and a Carousel View for larger image-group selections.
I n addition to those above Photoshop CS4 comes with GPU support and this enables it to make use of a graphics card's computing power to accelerate and/or smooth out various actions like zooming and rotation.

"This version is no exception with some stunning new imaging technology that complements our work to bring more control, simplicity and speed to everyday tasks. By streamlining the most popular workflows for the professional, technical or home user, Photoshop CS4 brings new levels of accessibility to the gold standard in digital imaging software."
Set to start selling next month Photoshop CS4 and CS4 Extended will cost $699 and $999 respectively. Upgrade options will also be available.
